Which airport do I need to fly into?

Fly into Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) in Buenos Aires to start.

It's February — summer in Argentina! Pack for variety: • Buenos Aires (20°C–30°C / 68°F–86°F): Light layers, comfy shoes, semi-formal for tango night. • El Chaltén & El Calafate (5°C–15°C / 41°F–59°F): Warm layers, waterproof jacket, trekking shoes for glacier fun. • Puerto Iguazú (25°C–35°C / 77°F–95°F): Breathable clothes, quick-dry gear for the boat trip, sunscreen. • Essentials: Sunglasses, hat, small backpack.

Do you have an age limit for tours?

Most activities suit adventurers 18–45 (typical guests 21–35). Minitrekking is for ages 8–65 only, with health restrictions (no exceptions).

What is the local currency?

In Buenos Aires and Calafate, the currency is Argentine Pesos (ARS), though US dollars are widely accepted. In Brazil, the currency is the Real (R$). Iguazu Falls straddles both countries, so you'll use pesos on the Argentine side and reais on the Brazilian side. Credit cards are accepted in most destinations throughout your trip.

Which airport do I fly out from?

Aeropuerto Internacional Cataratas del Iguazú (IGR). From here, you have three options: 1. Fly to Rio de Janeiro and continue with the Brazil program. 2. Return to Buenos Aires and take your flight home from there. 3. Explore direct flight options between Iguazú and your home destination.

The actual Carnival Parades run from February 28th to March 5th.
